Description:
As the climate crisis grows, we know BIPOC and low-income communities are affected the most. The health effects and financial tolls of pollution, power outages, floods, and fires can be disastrous.
Is it fair that communities which contribute the least to carbon emissions suffer the most from global warming? How can we equitably shoulder the burdens?
We’ll answer these questions and more with guests Edward Quevedo, Alma Soongi Beck, and Aniya Butler.
Please join moderators Sarah Turner and Kevin Morrison to explore the intersectional nature of the climate and racial justice.
