About
The International Union is bringing the 19th International Civil & Human Rights Conference to the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center in Detroit, Michigan from June 9-12, 2024.
We have witnessed historic events over the last five years that further the fight for civil and human rights, as well as events that set us back. We have a lot to discuss, and we have a lot of work to do. We will use our time together in Detroit to plan our work in the fight for dignity and respect for everyone, and seek a renewed commitment to work that plan with our conference theme – “I’ve Got the Movement in Me”. Each of us is already empowered with the tools to help create a more just and equitable world, so everyone – every Union member – is encouraged to meet us in Detroit so that we can get moving.
Conference Agenda
We have a lot of exciting things that are going to take place for this conference. Registration will take place before the conference convenes on Sunday evening at 5:00 PM, June 9, 2024. We will end our time together with a banquet on Wednesday evening June 12; everyone should plan to travel home no earlier than Thursday morning, June 13. More detailed agenda updates will be added here closer to the conference.
