I believe Russia is not the only country where people have salvaged scrap metal that turned out to be highly radioactive. How serious a problem is that? Is there any foolproof system for keeping track of radioactive products lying around in public? It’s a horrible thought that a person might get a lethal dose without even knowing there was any risk.
