What about Civil Wars?
Garry Davis believed that if we got over running the world with nation states, that would put and end to wars. He had a point, for sure. But since he took that brave stand and gave up his US citizenship, the wars have trended toward becoming civil insurrections instead of international wars. Well, the Iraq and Afghanistan Wars were both international, but most of the others (e.g. Syria) are not. So that solution will not, by itself, end wars.
