There are two discussions this time. One was a chance for Yevgeny Velikhov’s son and granddaughter to meet three of the four scientists who worked with him. The other was a discussion of the situations in Iran today and during the time when Mosaddegh was leading nonviolent change and today, when the name “Gorbachev” bothers the hard-liners in Iran, who fear that liberalization will bring collapse as in the USSR.
